The patented DeFeet Armskins have a list of victories in all the major bike races around the world. A favorite of runners for cool mountain runs or chilly mornings. There are no vertical seams for a consistent and aerodynamic fit.
In the hills of Northern France and Belgium are cobblestone roads that have lasted for centuries, and are still popular routes for runners to this day. After conquering these very hills, DeFeet designers created the company's award-winning Armskins specifically to withstand the damp, chilly punishment that runs on these roads dished out. The patented sleeves have been worn to racing victories all over the world, and are a favorite of cool-weather and chilly morning runners.
There are no vertical seams in order to ensure a consistent, aerodynamic fit, and the sleeves are made of machine washable 49% Coolmax EcoMade (created from recycled plastic bottles), 47% nylon, and 2% Lycra. A long wristband offers extra warmth, while the SeCurl no slip band on the biceps keeps everything firmly in place.
Warranty
DeFeet products include a limited one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
About DeFeet
DeFeet owner and founder Shane Cooper came to the United States from England during the late 1960s, when he was four. His father supported the family by distributing knitting machines, which helped Shane develop an early interest in well-crafted knit materials. He also loved bicycles and, in the early 1990s, he decided to bring these two passions together in order to create a unique new product, the Aireator. This cycling-specific sock was the first open mesh weave airflow design sock, and DeFeet's first product.
The company has continued to grow and expand its line over time. DeFeet products — primarily socks and other against-the-skin base layer items intended for sport use, which are always made in the USA — are deceptively simple, yet durable and offering performance properties beyond what you'd typically expect.
